Spotted Bear Ranch, MT

The Orvis endorsement is what sold me, and it didn't disappoint. Even the drive in through Whitefish felt like part of the adventure, and the lodge itself had that authentic Western vibe I was hoping for. Already planning my return trip for next season.

The Orvis endorsement made me trust the fishing quality right away, and the scenery around Whitefish didn’t disappoint one bit. Guide knew every bend of the river, so we landed more trout in two days than I have all season back home.

We booked the lodge for a long weekend and the guided access to the river made the whole trip effortless. The setting alone is worth it—waking up to that quiet mountain view before heading out with the gear they provided felt like a true escape.
