Fliegenfischen Costa Rica

I've fished in a lot of places, but the sheer biodiversity here made every single cast feel like a surprise. The Orvis-endorsed quality really showed in the gear and the guide's attention to detail. By the second day I was landing fish I'd only seen in magazines.

The mangrove snook fishing was every bit as wild as I’d hoped, and our guide knew exactly where to find them when the tide shifted. The whole week felt like one long, immersive nature documentary, and it’s easily the best money I’ve spent on a trip.

The Orvis endorsement was what sold me, and the operation ran as smoothly as any trip I've planned. Every guide knew exactly where the tarpon were holding, and the biodiversity around the mangroves made even the boat rides feel like a safari. We landed more fish in five days than I did all last seas
