Tied a few of these onto my popper rod before heading out, and the surface commotion they kick up is exactly what the bluegill wanted. The size 12 hooks are sharp out of the pack and held up fine through a dozen fish.

Tied one of these on before sunrise and the surface pops got me three bluegill in under an hour. The size 12 hook is sharp right out of the pack, which I appreciate since I usually forget to re-sharpen. They float steady, too, even with a little twitch.

The size 10 hook paired with the body is perfectly balanced for bluegill, and the way the cup face pops on the retrieve drives them crazy. I've already tied on three of these and the foam holds up well after a dozen bass smashes.
