Took these out on the river last weekend and the stainless steel hasn't shown a hint of rust even after getting soaked. The jaws still feel tight and sharp after a few trips, which is more than I can say for the cheap pair I lost in the truck.

Came back from a full season of guiding and these haven't rusted or dulled on me once, which is more than I can say for my last pair. The stainless steel body feels solid in the hand and cuts through heavy tippet cleanly even after being dropped in the gravel a dozen times.

The steel still has that sharp bite after a full season of clipping heavy tippets and working in salt spray—no rust spots yet. It’s small enough to hang on my vest without getting in the way, and the grip feels solid even with wet hands. This is the kind of tool you forget is there until you need it
