Tied up a few streamers with these for pike and the stinger point has held up great after a full day of casting. The hook gap is wide enough to get solid hooksets on bigger flies without feeling bulky.
The black nickel finish on these keeps them sharp after bouncing off rocks all day. Hooked into a chunky pike streamer and the stinger point held solid through every strip. Finally found a predator hook that doesn't straighten out on a good fish.
Tied up a few pike streamers on these last weekend and the stinger point stuck every fish that swiped, no short strikes coming unpinned. The wire gauge is stout enough that I'm not worried about it bending out on a big fish either.
