The short drive from Congo Town made getting on the water painless, and the Orvis-endorsed standard was obvious in how smoothly everything was organized. Housekeeping had the boats prepped before I even finished my coffee each morning, which I appreciated after a long travel day.
The 25-minute drive from Congo Town is a real plus after a long flight, and the lodge itself feels properly set up for serious anglers. I wish the boat schedule had been a bit more flexible, but the fishing access itself was everything I hoped for.
