This is my third long coat and the extra length finally covers my hips properly when I'm bent over picking up dog toys in the garden. The waxed shell beads off drizzle like a duck's back, and the cut still lets me layer a chunky knit underneath without feeling like a marshmallow.
Wore it through a week of sideways rain and frosty mornings, and didn't feel a single damp spot underneath. The extended cut means I can bend and reach without the hem riding up, which makes a huge difference on long dog walks. It's already my go-to for anything below 10 degrees.
