Swapping from a sinking to a floating line used to eat up half my morning on the water, but this spare spool makes it a two-minute job. The fit is snug with no wobble, and I can keep both setups ready in my bag now.
The magnetic lock on this spool is solid—no wobble when I’m stripping line mid-cast. Swapping from a sinking tip to a floater took me under a minute on the water, which saved the day when the trout moved deep. Build feels tough enough for a season of abuse.
The spare spool snaps in and out of my reel so fast that I’ve stopped dreading line changes when the fish move to deeper water. It holds the line securely without any tangles, even after bouncing around in my vest all day. Exactly what I needed for quick swaps on the riverbank.
