Didn't think I needed a magnetic patch until I got tired of digging through pockets for forceps. This little thing holds a dozen flies plus my nippers right on my chest, and everything stays put even when I'm wading waist-deep.
Clipped this to my vest and it swallows a dozen midges without bulging. The magnet grabs my nippers mid-drift so I'm not fumbling in the box. Genuinely the handiest little patch I've added all season.
The magnet is stronger than I expected for something this small, and it holds my forceps and nippers without either one sliding off. I clipped it to my vest and had a dozen flies within reach all day on the water.
