The hook design keeps it tracking true even in choppy stillwater, which is a huge relief. I've landed three browns in two outings since switching to this pattern, and the movement in the water looks ridiculously natural.

Cast it into a slow pool and the lifelike wiggle on the pause is almost eerie—trout hit it before the second strip. The hackle stays crisp after a dozen fish, which is more than I can say for other patterns I've tied on.

The way this fly twitches through the water is uncannily lifelike—trout took it on the first pass in the stream. I’m already tying on another one after losing my first to a big fish.
