Tied one on for a quick salt session and the bright orange body was spot-on against the white sand, the fish turned on it almost immediately. Cast it into a decent chop and it still tracked true without twisting my leader. It's earned a permanent spot in my box.
First time on the flats last week and this fly drew strikes where my others didn’t—the orange really pops even in that pale, sandy water. It cast well on my 8-weight and held up through a dozen hookups without losing its shape. Definitely tying more of these.
