Third winter with this and the waxed cotton still beads water like day one, though I've re-waxed it twice. The collar pops up high enough to block wind on cold morning walks. Fits true to size and the pockets are deep enough for gloves and a phone.
The fit is roomy enough for a thick sweater underneath, which is exactly what I wanted for blustery walks. Three days of steady drizzle and I stayed perfectly dry, and the wind just rolls right off this thing.
The waxed cotton is already starting to develop that nice, lived-in character after just a few wears. It shrugs off wind and rain like nothing, and the collar stands up perfectly when the weather turns.
