Werp deze Charlie-vlieg en kijk hoe de bonefish hem opeet. De Cowen's Bonefish Scampi is ontworpen om bonefish te verleiden met zijn realistische uiterlijk en beweging in het water.
Tied this on after spotting tails in about a foot of water and the bonefish absolutely hammered it. The scampi's movement in the water looks way more lifelike than the generic patterns I used to throw, even on a slow retrieve.
First cast in the crystal-clear flats and that lifelike scampi movement got a bonefish to turn instantly—wild to watch the fly work its magic in the water. The realistic profile held up great after a dozen toothy takes too.
The hook shape and feathering look almost exactly like a real shrimp when it’s stripped slowly across the flats. I tied one on for a morning session and had three follows within the first hour—they were clearly keyed in on it. Can’t ask for much more from a scampi pattern.
