Manchester Wingshooting Schools, VT

Signed up as a total beginner not knowing which end of the gun was up, and by the end of the second day my swing and follow-through finally felt natural. The instructors really tailored everything to my pace, and the upland hunting portion in the Vermont fields was the highlight I didn't expect.

The instructors broke down my stance and swing into tiny pieces I could actually fix between rounds, and the clay targets they set up seemed to match exactly where I was missing on live birds. Left Manchester with a much smoother mount and a few new upland habits I’ll keep for good.

I’ve hunted for years but never had formal instruction, and the core fundamentals they drilled into me completely changed how I mount the gun and follow through. The hands-on format in Manchester keeps you moving and engaged the whole time, which made the lessons stick far better than any video ever
