Bygget for å håndtere vind, avstand og hardtløpende fisk, leverer Recon® Saltwater Fly Rod pålitelig saltvannsytelse du kan stole på.
Took it out on a 25-knot day and the blank loaded up beautifully for the long casts I needed against the wind. The hard-running bones peeled line off the reel without me worrying about the rod folding under pressure. Exactly the kind of saltwater stick I was hoping for.
Cast it into a stiff offshore breeze all afternoon and it still punched line out to the backing without a hiccup. The blank’s backbone handled a screaming jack without feeling flimsy, and the cork stayed grippy even soaked. Exactly what I needed for hard-running fish.
The taper loads up fast in the wind, which saved me more than a few casts during a blustery afternoon on the flats. Hooked a stubborn bull red and the backbone handled the drive without any wobble.
