Ratio Reel

After fighting a massive steelhead that ran deep into my backing, the drag stayed silky smooth the entire time—no stutter, no fade. That powerful yet sensitive feel gives me total confidence on my heavy rod, and the build already looks like it'll outlive me.

Replaced my old reel mid-season after losing a big steelhead, and the drag on this one is powerful enough that I stopped worrying about running line. Heavy rod, big fish, zero flex in the frame—it just holds and grinds them down.

The drag is buttery smooth yet stops a hard-running fish dead in its tracks—exactly what I needed on my 10-weight. After a season of saltwater abuse, it still feels as solid as day one. This reel handles big fish without breaking a sweat.
