Caranguejo Grand Slam

Tied this on for permit and the little rubber legs move just enough in the current to look alive. It sinks at a nice slow rate, which kept it in the strike zone instead of snagging bottom. Picked up three fish on it my first morning out.

First cast on the flats and the crab’s got that perfect sideways drift, super lifelike in the water. I landed two bonefish back-to-back before the tide switched, which says enough about how realistic the pattern reads.

Tied a few of these on before a flats trip and the crab profile held up perfectly through a dozen casts into the mangroves. The lifelike silhouette got hammered by a redfish on the second drift, which says enough about how convincing it looks underwater.
