Jig Tunghead Hot Spot Cauda de Faisão

Snagged way fewer branches on my first outing with this fly than I usually do, and the way it rides hook-up makes the strike feel much more solid. The tungsten head gets it down fast, which is exactly what I needed for the deeper runs.

The barbless hook design is exactly what I needed—it rides hook-up every time and I’ve had zero snags in rocky water. This pattern’s landed me more fish in one afternoon than my last box of flies did all month.

First cast with the barbless jig hook and it rode clean through the weed line, zero snags. Hook-up was immediate and the pheasant tail pattern held up even after a few aggressive takes.
