Recon® Freshwater Fly Rod

I’ve put this rod through three straight weekends of bushwhacking to remote creeks, and it still feels as crisp as day one. The durability is no joke—I’ve smacked it against rocks and branches without a single crack or weak spot.

Took this rod on a backcountry trip where I dragged it through brush, rocks, and a couple of sketchy stream crossings—the blank flexes nicely and still feels solid after all that abuse. It’s light enough to cast all day without your arm giving out.

The blank tip section still tracks true after a full season of bushwhacking to cutthroat creeks, and the cork has held up way better than my last rod. Loads smoothly enough to punch a size 4 streamer into wind, which is all I ask for at this price.
