Encounter® Fly Rod Outfit

Took it out of the box and had line on the water in about ten minutes, which is exactly what I wanted as someone new to fly fishing. The rod casts smooth enough that I stopped fighting my loops by the second trip out.

Took it out of the box and was casting within ten minutes, which is exactly what I wanted as someone who's never touched a fly rod. The line shoots smoothly and the rod has enough backbone to fight the wind on my local lake.

The all-in-one aspect sold me since I'm new to fly fishing and didn't want to piece together gear. Rod loads smoothly on shorter casts, and the line that comes with it shoots fine for a beginner setup. Had a fish on within an hour of my first trip.
